What is an analysis?
Taste reading one of your uploads and pulling out its colors, type, spacing and layout, so your taste profile and agents can use it. Each image or video you upload uses one, and so does a collection brief. Saving designs from Discover, swiping, annotating, writing your taste profile and using Taste with your agents never use one. Pro analyses also sort each upload into a category and note its layout and visual hierarchy.
What happens when I run out of free analyses?
Nothing you’ve built goes away. Your saves, collections, taste profile, and MCP keep working, and you can keep saving designs from Discover. New screenshots can be analyzed again when your allowance renews each month.
What’s a design breakdown?
A short explanation of why a design works, covering the decisions behind its hierarchy, type, color, and spacing, plus a prompt you can give your AI coding tool. Pro includes a breakdown on every image reference.
Is there a free trial?
New Pro subscribers can try Pro free for 5 days on yearly billing or 3 days on monthly. Cancel before the trial ends and you won’t be charged.
How do starter analyses work?
Free accounts begin with 15 one-time analyses. After those are used, you get 7 each month. Your account shows what’s left and when it renews.
What does using my own API key cost?
Pro supports using your own OpenAI API key in Taste for Mac for additional analyses. That usage is billed separately by OpenAI. Your Taste subscription does not cover those charges.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Manage or cancel your subscription from Account. If you cancel, Pro access continues until the end of the paid billing period.
